I've recently seen these items on menu's near my home (or in a bad dream). Wondering what other multinational delicacies/abominations others have seen/tried/backed away from in horror?

The nachos had potatoes subbing for tortilla chips and the lasagna featured blanched egg roll skins in place of pasta (an old ravioli trick). Neither are that far of a stretch, may even be tasty and probably sell well.

    Any others?

Of course, there's always the ubiquitous southwestern egg roll, but my fave recently is the kosher-chinese place at the Jewel on Howard that serves a deep-fried hot dog in an egg roll wrapper. And it's kosher.

I'm a fan of the Irish-Mexican nachos. Theres also the Rueban Rolls, corned beef, kraut and cheese in a egg roll skin which I saw just recently at Germanfest.
