Given that one of their waitresses was just convicted of murdering a restaurant manager, how awkward is it that Leona’s television spots now feature a restaurant manager talking about how funny it was when one of his waitresses went ballistic and coldcocked a customer? I searched for a link to the ad, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere yet. I've seen it on CNN about 7-8 times, so it's out there. Be interesting to see if it stays out, now."Don't you ever underestimate the power of a female." Bootsy Collins

Ann Marie totally cold cocked that guy, and though she is described here as a little woman, she was actually pretty tough (see: wore doc martin boots). The only part of the story that I recall differently was the firing part -- as I recall, she was straight up fired that night. Maybe they rehired her later.
Thanks much for this little walk down memory lane, circa 1995.

Wow that is all that it took to be tough in '95? I should have moved here earlier, I would have ruled this town I had THREE pairs of Docs!
