This thread sucks. Its subject matter is irrelevant, its tone strident and its author at best a twit, at worst a malevolent wart. This post wrote itself.

This post and all comments in this thread made in reply to this post are lacking in factual content, insightful perception, or reasonable opinion. This post and all comments in this thread made in reply to this post are expressions of their authors' invidious intents, raw prejudices, simple jealousy and laughable ignorance.

This thread fails to lionize a regional fast food chain for two score and ten posts.

This thread fails to demonize a regional fast food chain or its lionizers for any number of posts.

This thread fails to express unbridled exuberance from a first-time poster. This thread fails to contain 7 or more posts made within 35 minutes summarily condemning the OP as a shill. (This thread may have been posted by a shill.)

This thread is utterly lacking in sufficient snark.

Every statement in this thread, other than the preceding one, is true. The sentence preceding this sentence is false. The preceding two sentences are true, but unprovable. The preceding sentence is false, but not-false in an imaginable multivalent logic.

This thread thinks this thread sucks.

Your post has some salient points that haven't been made elsewhere, but the words rhyme with words used in a 2004 thread about boloney. Therefore, I suspect that this thread will be merged with the 2004 boloney thread shortly.

This thread -- which sucks -- seems to be winding down. So in the name of defending the site's honor, I'm going to direct some snarky comments towards a previous poster who was especially strident or a bit of a jackass, thereby ensuring that the thread can continue to suck for at least another seven or eight pages. I will be completely unable to step away from this argument until the moderators lock the thread.

This thread sucks, so we should start a new version of it quarterly.

Sucky threads like this are why I hate LTH. I did NOT sign up here & deign to grace all of you with my presence only to be forced to read threads that suck like this one.

Like the previous time this discussion came up (get it?), I tried looking up what was known about it before shooting my fingers off and once again found that this is in fact a well known phenomenon.

However, because I am deriving some perverse pleasure in this thread, rather than simply letting time get wasted and not even posting (before the thread gets locked), here's my 3c

After reading this thread, I tried everything that people in it said not to have, and none of what they did say to have, and I have to say, I don't see what the big deal is. In fact, This Thread Sucks!!!

Rumor has it that this thread was authored by Sue Lowden and enacted into law by the Arizona legislature.

Though I don't have the requisite 873 post for MHO to matter, I'll go ahead and say it...I like this thread.

Seriously guys, at this point you're all just piling on. I mean, this thread's only been around for 2 days, so I think it's totally irresponsible to say this thread sucks when it's clearly still experiencing opening-week jitters and working out the kinds. This thread is a friend of mine, it's working its ass off to fulfill its dream, so it's really unfair that you guys are totally trying to ruin its livelihood. I think if you give this thread an honest second chance, it'll become your favorite thread ever.
