Somehow I think I can survive without my Good Humor ice cream bar. I've been doing it for 20 years. It's called branching into better tasting ice cream. :D

This article amused me for some unknown reason.

I am hoping to get to that this summer. I have an ice cream maker but I have yet to learn how to use it, but in due time I will get there. In the meantime, yours looks heavenly divine. Toss this in with the gelato I had at Caputo's in Elmwood Park yesterday and you have a ton of ways to get past the daunting days of the Good Humor Man.

As I said, I'll survive. I used to love the toasted almond back in the day though.

As far as Good Humor novelties go, the Chocolate Eclair is your money bar.

I would probably, still, chase the truck for that bar.

Me too, if one bar didn't cost as much as a box. I may have to pick one up when I stop at Jewel next week.

Chocolate Eclair is the poor man's Strawberry Shortcake.

I never got chocolate ice cream. It is hot out there. Both chocolate and dairy make me thirsty. The effects are exponential. Why do it to yourself?

I can't remember the last time I had Good Humor (or any equivalent) in the US, although ice cream bars are a regular treat for me when I'm in Europe. Reading about the toasted almond has me very curious...I will have to try to seek one out!
