    Any info on what people actually cooked?

    We called it a cookoff, not a BBQ contest. Funny but I didn't see inside the 9x9 containers that were presented to the judges.

    I got the meat/product from Frank at Ellengee Market. http://ellengeemarket.com/Cash-N-Carry.html We purchased 75 lbs of whole fresh chicken, and 65 lbs of their Farmington Pork Spare Ribs (trimmed, no silver skin, EXCELLENT product)

    Now I need to ask what was presented to the judges, in terms of each contestant's dish.

    Next year I'll make a note to have photos of one container of each team's entry to the judges.

    Everyone had a great time and plans are to continue the event next year too, bigger and better.
