The bride left this article for me yesterday, and I thought it might interest some http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7528782/site/newsweek/.

Could be interesting books with the combined wisdom of the Chowhounds. There also is an extended thread on Chowhound Site Talk announcing the publication, officially it is April 26.

No plans for an LTH guide that I know of, though there certainly is a whole lot of valuable knowledge here, too.

Somehow, I do not expect there will be a Chowhound Chicago Guide.

    Hi,

Considering the number of contributors to the Slow Food Guide from this community, it is defacto our product. And we're ahead of Chowhound on the publishing curve, sort of!

    Regards,

Has anyone seen these yet? I am curious about the format more than the content (since I don't expect to visit either city anytime soon and, besides, I know how to use the Internet to look that kind of stuff up). I checked the machine at Borders and they apparently are not stocking them in Chicago.
