The glasses are large, reasonable quality. The pitchers are cheaper plastic but still, $8.

I do a lot of tea, then just recently cold steep in the pitcher.
Another option I do is to use a soda stream to carbonate the tea, then put it into the pitcher.

I have not tried carbonated tea. Usually I do not like to make large quantities of tea at once, preferring to make fresh. Also there are one or two around that drink the tea so I am not making it for large numbers of people. What I do is to get a large glass ball jar. I put my electric bodum kettle on to boil and put four tea bags in the jar. I fill up the ball jar half way with water and let it steep and cool on the countertop. After some time I remove the bags and fill the jar to the top with water. That will usually be enough tea for a meal or maybe a whole day. Sometimes thin the tea concentrate down with more water. I prefer to make my tea in glass for some reason. Its easy to get into a ball jar and clean it not so easy with some pitchers with small mouths.
