Local food movement gets a boost

Chicago's appetite for regionally produced food keeps growing, creating a huge opportunity for food and farm entrepreneurs. But first, many small operations need to scale up.

FamilyFarmed.org is stepping in to give them an assist. It's launching the Good Food Business Accelerator, a six-month fellows program that will provide technical assistance to farmers and producers who want to ramp up their businesses to meet the demand for local and sustainable food.
