My Life in France by Julia Child and Alex Prud'homme

Recently finished this memoir about Julia Child's early experiences in France. Through her writing, she shares her spirit, her love of cooking and her determination. She worked more than 10 years on Mastering the Art of French Cooking! I enjoyed her great descriptions and storytelling.

    Hi,

Alex Prud'homme is Julia's nephew from her husband Paul Child's side of the family.

I haven't read the new Julia book, but one of my favorite biographies *period* is Appetite for Life. I've been wondering how much overlap there might be between the two. I'm sure I'll eventually get to the Child/Prud'homme, if only to again enter Julia's abundant, welcoming world.
