Purple Asparagus Family Dinner at Elephant Thai

On Saturday, March 10 from 2:00pm-4:30pm, Purple Asparagus will host a family dinner at Elephant Thai. In addition to a wonderful home-style Thai meal with items to appeal to both parents and kids, we will be treated to a very special presentation of Thai music and dance. The dances will include the Thai Blessing Dance, Srivichai, and Rum Wong (Dance in the Circle), the last involving guest participation. Some additional excitement related to this event is that we anticipate that Liv and Belle of Spatulatta.com (the 2006 James Beard winner for best webcast) will be joining us and will do a remote report on the dinner.

Ticket prices for members are Adults and teens, $30.00; Big Kids (5-12), $10.00; and Little Kids (4 and under), free. Ticket prices for non-members are Adults and teens, $35.00; Big Kids (5-12), $12.00; and Little Kids (4 and under), free. Elephant Thai is BYOB.

This Saturdays event at Elephant Thai is going to be terrific, Thai dancing, music, Thai food, with both interactive Thai dancing and Thai language lessons for the kids, a rocking good time.

Elephant Thai is a few blocks West of Cicero Ave on Devon and, as a bonus, is directly across the street from The Chocolate Shoppe.

The food will be, as always at Elephant Thai, terrific. Here are a few highlights.
