The first Cubs game is Monday, April 2 -- the first home game the following week.

I propose a Cure the Curse ritual feast and partake of Goat Stew -- Norka at Salamera said her mother makes cavita -- the same -- when I spoke with her last month. Salamera does a great Empanada -- all things goat of course -- except for her purple corn drink.

April 1st mid-day -- possibly 2 seatings, since Salamera is tiny & can't comfortably hold more than two dozen ...

The BoSox had a reverse the curse ice cream -- which reinvented here would make $$$ in Wrigley Field this summer -- I suggest a Dulce de Leche with the caramel component, carmelized goat milk ... perhaps a whizbang chef could conjure up a recipe for this hypothetical event

If this is a whimsy your passions could materialize, get back to me, and I'll report back to Norka at Salamera and work out logistics.

Did you talk to Salamera about opening on a Sunday?

Sounds like a fun idea... I missed this post the first time around...

I spoke w/Norky about 2 months ago about this and we were going to talk some more when things firmed up.

    Things never firmed up.

    We're still cursed ...

But maybe next year ... if Salamera survives.

I think if someone could get it together enough to get bunches of goat meat empanadas and sell them at Wrigley Field ...

Thanks for your response. I was feeling lonely.

I missed this post (on vacation), but I think it's a great idea...and I'm not much of a baseball/sports fan.

Are there any other goat-serving restaurants in the Wrigley area that might be up for putting together a special menu for pre-game?
