I just recieved the following e-mail from Charlie at The Maple Tree Inn in Blue Island. Unforetunately I will not be there. I will be in Louisville at Thunder Over Louisville.

Go there and tell anyone there that Tom, the Mortgage Guy, sent you.
Enjoy!
"Dear Tom Gausselin:"
"First, CRAWFISH SUNDAY is June 3 at 4 p.m. All you can eat spicy boiled lil' lobsters with corn, potato and sausage thrown in for good measure plus other fixin's to chow down on. More on this in next months mail."
"Second and even more immediately important is that the City of Blue Island has decided to allow a portion of the movie "The Express" - about the first Heisman trophy winner - to be filmed on Olde Western from Broadway to Canal this Saturday April 21st from sunrise until sunset. This is going to block off all parking in front of the Maple Tree but they will allow parking on Canal just to the east of us."
"We literally just found out about this. I am hoping that you might be consider (on very short notice) dining and watching some of the filming with us. I'm bringing in some select river crawfish for the event. If you do decide to come and are seated before 6:30, just say the magic words to your server - Mr. Charlie's Mudbugs - and you'll receive either two glasses of beer from our 25 offerings or two glasses of any of our pouring wine selections per person. This is an "internet special" but hopefully you'll tell others and get them to come along. The long term forecast is for around 70 degrees and let's hope sunny."
"Park on Canal as close to us as possible, walk down to the "Tree" and come in either the normal entrance or the verandah entrance. We'll take it from there. Remember to be here to be seated by 6:30 to get the special beer or wine offering. Our way of saying thanks for helping us out. Hope to see you Saturday."
"Thanks, Charlie"
