Reception for James Beard award winners Page and Dornenburg

The Spice House will host Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg for a reception Friday, Nov 14, from 6-8 pm at the Old Town location, 1512 North Wells Street. Tastings from their newest book, The Flavor Bible, will be served along with libations. They will give a talk around 6:30 to introduce you to their writings and the ideas that formulated a series of award winning books. (James Beard and IACP awards) The event is complimentary, but an rsvp is requested so as to know how much food to prepare. A repeat performance is scheduled at the newest Spice House in Geneva, on Sat. Nov 15, 4-6 pm. This is also a one year anniversary celebration so there will be food, libations, an anniversary cake.
