Lincoln Square LTH'ers, unite! (And the rest of you can come play as well.)

A few recent posts about Pizza Art Cafe on Rockwell have reminded me that it's been a little while since we've enjoyed their menu, even longer since we've dined in. Now seems like a good time to get together with LTH'ers - some in the Rockwell neighborhood, which makes them literal neighbors of mine - and have some pizza, as well as octopus and pljeskavaya! (PAC is BYOB as well, as I recall.)

I'm aiming for Wednesday, November 19th, at 7pm. Any other city-centric LTH'ers should note that PAC is just steps from the Rockwell Brown Line stop, and others considering driving should know that parking is almost never a problem in our neck of the woods.

Looking forward to having you join us!

I'm in for one - and will check with a couple of friends which may make it 3, if there's room. Thanks.

Not a Lincoln Square'r, but I find the thread on this place intriguing. And I'm always up for trying a new pizza place.

    Please sign me up.

5 thus far, plus my wife and I, makes 7.

I think a good cap for this event is a table of 10. 3 seats left!

7pm still works for everyone? I have a doc's appt. in the late afternoon but should still have no problem being there at 7.

    Looking forward to it!

7PM still workd for me. I'll be bringing some good IPA. Let me know if you want in, and I'll happily haul a few extra bottles.

7 pm works fine with me as well. I will bring something (probably wine) to BYO and share. Looking forward to it!

Great - and IPA sounds great, Kenny.

I'll be stopping by Binny's to grab some seasonal Rogues - I think the Santa's Little Helper is already out. The Juniper Ale is a good winter-y drink as well, so if I see that, I'll grab that as well.

If everyone prefers beer, then maybe I'll bring that instead of wine. Unless someone else wants wine. If someone else wants wine, speak now or forever hold your peace! :)

My wife is more of a wine person, so I might pick up a bottle of something red as well. Don't worry - we'll all enjoy whatever you choose to stop by with!

Just an FYI - Rockwell's Bar and Grill, just down the block from Pizza Art Cafe, is a great bar (and grill) and has Rogue Dead Guy. Great place to stop after your dinner.

Thanks to whiskeybent for organizing tonight's successful event. I'm going to reserve my critique/comments for later, after I've thought about the night further, but I've some photos of the food orgy to share with readers - posted below (without captions). It was a great night out at Pizza Art Café amongst expectedly fascinating LTHers in a warm and friendly environment.

Thanks for putting this event together. Pizza Art is a warm inviting place and economy friendly -- that entire dinner, which was overall delicious, cost us $20 pp (tax and tip included) with leftovers, which probably accounts for why, on a Wednesday night, Pizza Art was crowded and bustling.

Despite it being staggeringly unphotogenic, I really liked the cevapcici (#9 above) with the soft farmers' cheese in the fluffy dough. A very comforting dish.

Is that really a hunk of breakfast sausage hanging out in #10? Nice that you numbered but would have liked an note of description linked to them.
