Thanksgiving Traditions: Stories, Recipes and Menus from the Historic Plymouth Colony, with Camille Stagg, 11/18, 7PM

Trace Thanksgiving back to its origins on the western shore of Cape Cod Bay in 1621 with food, wine and travel journalist Camille Stagg. Ms. Stagg, food editor for more than 12 years with the Chicago Sun-Times, as well as the author of sixteen books on food and cooking, will give first-hand insight into the Thanksgiving customs and historical recipes of the Bradford family into which she was married. The Bradfords are descendants of Plymouth Colony Governor William Bradford. Tips for serving a Thanksgiving menu will be offered, and Camille will discuss appropriate wine pairings. Copies of several of Ms. Stagg’s books will be available for purchase and signing by her following the program. Please contact the branch for further information.
