Potluck: Food and ArtPot Luck brings together 17 internationally acclaimed contemporary artists who explore the continuing relationship between food and art. The exhibition includes photography, sculpture, video and site specific installations.
Pot Luck has been conceived in the mood of an informal pot luck dinner where each artist has been invited to bring a dish to the table. The eclectic offering includes a life size Chinese restaurant, a salami raincloud and a giant cheese grater. This mixture of ingredients invites us to consider the role and significance of food and eating within our daily lives whilst experiencing the current flavour of our social and political climate.
