Chicago Originals is a group of 15 independent restaurants in the city and suburbs. They will once again be celebrating their annual two-week  Restaurant Week on January 18-31, with special 3-course menus for $29.10. Details of the promotion are on the Chicago Originals website here, and you can see a list of the restaurants in the group here.

This is separate from the Restaurant Week promoted by the Chicago Tourism Bureau and held this past year the last week of February and extended to the first week of March. There's no word yet on dates or details for that promotion if they decide to hold it again in 2010.

Sweets & Savories is one of the listed restaurants and this promotion is a $0.10 increase from Sweets & Savories everyday 3 course prix fixe.

I'm sure there's something else thrown in there, but it's kind of funny.

I had no idea that Chicago was now located in Ohio!
