I saw the buffet last week. I'm sure it's fine but... yes, let's order.

Kept my calendar open, so I'll see everyone at noon. It's much more fun to the order from menu instead of buffet with a group this size. Thanks for organizing.

Just an FYi if you're driving. There are some street closures on Van Buren today because of a fire. http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2010 ... reets.html

    I'll see you all soon.

Never fails. Office emergency: can't make it. If someone is looking for a spot, he/she is welcome to mine. (Well, not welcome, but they can have it.... :( )

Great lunch today. Thanks Kenny for organizing. I'll remember to dress in a dark shirt for future get togethers, luckily I avoided any major stains today

Yes, it was good a lunch and thanks for organizing Kenny. The soup and all other items hit the spot on this cold, grey day.

Bombagcino's is next-door to Seoul Food and is lunch worthy, but it might be tough with a large group. It gets pretty crowded around noon and you can wait, standing, 10-15 minutes for your order. However, if folks wanted to get there around 11:30am sometime, it might work. I'm not necessarily suggesting this for next month, but certainly it's potential for the future....

enjoyable time with a fun group of LTHers. Not revelatory Korean food, but tasty, warming, and a lot better than other stuff in the area. I wouldn't have minded a bit more complexity in the seafood soup I had, but the tofu was silky, the fish tasted good, and there was a nice-surprise in the form of a hard cooked egg floating around in the piping hot bowl. I liked the panchan quite a bit, especially the housemade kimchi. Korean Seoul Food is a respite for me on cold winter days, and I'm happy to have shared it with y'all.

Glad I made it off the waiting list and could join you--definitely a good group :D

Not sure if the logistics would work but it might be interesting to try the French Market as a group...we could certainly try a lot of things...might be kind of disjointed though. I was in there yesterday and noticed they added a lot of seating since i was there a month ago which is a good thing...
