It’s not like Taste of Chicago is to the taste of most LTH posters. Granted, there are some GNR faves like Lao Sze Chuan, Manny’s, and, um, aside from one or two others, that’s pretty much it.
Still, it’s a celebration of food, and granted some (maybe much) of it is sad and clichéd, and all of it is eaten in the sun, on asphalt, with a sweating, smelly mass of humanity, still, it’s about people enjoying food, and for that reason alone, I’m planning to go (provided the weather is perfect).
