Hi all! Please come to Chicago's most dynamic gathering of food, fashion and design under a single roof: Dose Market, a monthly pop-up featuring over 40 of the city's creative and exciting artisans, designers and entrepreneurs.

AND COME HUNGRY! July's market is bigger and better than the first, with a whopping 20 food vendors and 25 fashion and design vendors.

EAT -- Old Town Social Charcuterie panini, artisan cheese flights from Great American Cheese Collection, sandwiches and salads from City Provisions, farmers' market salads from Andersonville's Great Lake Pizza, and more. Shop for Middle Eastern spices from Spices of Lezzet, jams from Rare Bird Preserves, confections from Whimsical Candy, barbecue sauces and rubs from Lillie's Q, and more. Cool down with Hoosier Mama pie shakes, Seedling's Michigan berry smoothies and Salted Caramel popsicles, or grab a seat in X-Marx and Rare Tea Cellar's 8-table Chinese Tea House.

SHOP -- Vintage sunglasses and frames from Contacts & Specs, t-shirts and just-launched denim from Apartment Number 9, ties from Fresh & Proper, stunning jewelry from Gillion Carrara, Mineralogy and Shades of Grey, vintage finds from Elegantly Wasted and Deliciously Vintage, high-end resale from Luxury Garage Sale, linens from local designer Unison, vintage decor from the stylish Study, bikes from Method, boards from Red Belly Boardshop, and more.

    Hi mhill95149,

Bringing this incredible gathering of Chicago’s finest food and fashion to you every month has its cost. The entrance fee goes towards the independent businesses we’re supporting. By charging a small fee at the door, we can keep the booth rental cost particularly reasonable.

And you could think of it this way: With gas nearing $5 per gallon, how much would you spend trekking from Lincoln Park to Back of the Yards to West Town to Andersonville to Evanston and beyond to visit the vendors we’re gathering under one roof?

Any profits made are poured back into Dose to make future dates even better than the first.

Wow, so you must be doing this for free? Don't you deserve to get paid too?

At some point down the line, perhaps, but for now this is a labor of love! The four founders created the market because we believe in the artisans it supports and aspire to create an exciting, energizing cultural gathering that brings together the city's best. We all have full-time jobs--this is our passion project.

Yum! Offering booze before noon is my favorite way to attract the elite!
