Yum Thai rocked it last night. It goes immediately back in my rotation. IMMEDIATELY.
    Duck curry
    Exploded catfish
    Catfish curry (I think)
100 or 1000 year old eggs
The standouts I remember. If ronnie_s posts pics I'll remember more, but those are the things I'm going back for probably before the end of next week. Great food, fun crowd. Thanks for organizing! And my eyes have been opened to sour beer. Going to find some today to enjoy during the hot weekend. That stuff was delicious! Hell, in all seriousness, I may go back to Yum this weekend.
We cannot be friends if you do not know the difference between Mayo and Miracle Whip.

Nice seeing you gentlemen there last night. With all the booze on the table I'm impressed that anyone is posting this morning! (And no, for others who may be concerned, I did not crash the boy's party; just happened to be getting some carryout at the same time).

I concur with seebee on those dishes, plus the papaya salad. So clean and refreshing going down, then the heat hits you about 20 seconds later and sticks with you for a long time. I'm also a sour beer convert so if anyone can post what they brought or what they remember, that would be great.

Great to meet everyone else as well and I'm looking forward to the next get together.

Also +1 for Ronnie's homemade Limoncello.

Thanks to all who attended. Ten in all! We must have ordered 15 dishes and not a clunker in the lot.

    Good fun!

Loved everything about last night - good food, good company, and an all around great evening. Yum Thai is definitely my new go-to spot for Thai in the area, and I'm looking forward to taking the wife there to revisit a few of last night's dishes.

As far as sour beer, I brought the Duchesse de Bourgogne and Rodenbach Grand Cru. I also recall trying Liefmans (the Goudenband?), the Bockor Bellegems Bruin and the Marrón Acidifié from The Bruery.

Others you might want to look for/try are Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge and Petrus Aged Pale (which is stocked at every Whole Foods I've checked at, and some Binnys).
