This event was not posted prior to the event. I attended last evening and it was a wonderful event. It was limited to 12 people and was sold out. Linda Mueller, with the assistance of her friend Ingrid, had five strudel's already made and then made six more during the class - two apple, two sweet potato and two butternut squash.

Linda shows us her custom made strudel board.

Linda prepares to need the dough.

The dough is divided and place on oiled plates to rest and relax the gluten.

The handout.

Time to snack on strudel while we wait for the dough to relax. There was Apple, Cheese and Sweet Potato.

Time to pull the dough.

You should be able to read a love letter through the dough.

Toasted bread crumbs are sprinkled over the dough before the filling is added.

The apple mixture. Granny Smith apples, dark raisins, sugar and cinnamon.

Adding the apple filling.

Sweet potatoes, apples, raisins, sugar and cinnamon make another tasty strudel.

Fold the end over the filling and then the sides and sprinkle with warm canola oil.

Two turns and more oil.

Using the towel to roll the strudel.

The finished product - Butternut Strudel with apples and raisins.
