Aviary has scheduled two receptions to honor the new cookbook, Eleven Madison Park: The Cookbook, and chefs Daniel Hum and Will Guidara of that excellent New York restaurant. The receptions (on Sunday November 13) are, I think, sold out at this point, but they will include Aviary cocktails and 11 Madison Park appetizers.
Is anyone (aside from me) going to either reception (6pm and 9pm).Toast, as every breakfaster knows, isn't really about the quality of the bread or how it's sliced or even the toaster. For man cannot live by toast alone. It's all about the butter. -- Adam Gopnik
