Added this to my calendar, and as the day draws near, would love to organize something especially given its around and post Thanksgiving.

    ABOUT THE FILM
For six months of the year, renowned Spanish chef Ferran Adrià closes his restaurant El Bulli — repeatedly voted the world's best — and works with his culinary team to prepare the menu for the next season. An elegant, detailed study of food as avant-garde art, EL BULLI: COOKING IN PROGRESS is a rare inside look at some of the world's most innovative and exciting cooking; as Adrià himself puts it, "the more bewilderment, the better!"
“Nothing is more agreeable to look at than a gourmande in full battle dress.”
    Jean-Antheleme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826)

I'm not a shopper, but I could be in for Friday 11-25.

I'm not either, but that area could be mobbed with tourists and shoppers the day after Thanksgiving. Should we keep that day in mind and see what works for everyone?

FYI: El Bulli will screen once at Northwestern's Block Museum in Evanston just before the Gene Siskel run: Friday, November 18 @ 7pm. This may be more convenient for north siders. I'm a Siskel member and NU student, so I could go either way--I'll follow wherever my LTH gal pals go. ;)

I'll be attending the screening at Northwestern with my fashion & food in contemporary media class - if any LTHers are going, please let me know. I'd love to say hi :)

I'd be in for either Northwestern or Siskel.

Bumping up the Siskel option for this ... The 25th might be crazy with shoppers but would be a good date at least for me - either afternoon or evening, maybe with a cocktail before or after at Sable?
