We'll be sampling the Korean goat stew (Jeuk Suk Yum So Bok Um), plenty of panchan, and who knows what else 12:30 Wednesday February 15 at the restaurant with many names. Call it Chun Ju, Golden Chopstick, or Jeonjoo; it doesn't matter. It seems to be among the better of the many Korean restaurants along this stretch of Dempster in Morton Grove.

It's not a high profile joint, but it has gotten some LTH love here.

It's not that far from Evanston, and it shouldn't be too much of a trip for the North suburban lunch group types. I'm hoping we'll get a big crowd for plenty of ordering power. Membership cards not required.

    5707 W. Dempster St.

I look forward to being part of the first joint excursion. At lunch today (in Mundelein, deep in our own territory), the North group can plan our battle strategy.

    Thanks, Will

I really had been looking forward to attending our first joint lunch, but now it looks like I'm going to have to miss it, due to a previous commitment on 2/15. :(

Aw, man. I was waiting a while to RSVP because I had to play my schedule by ear.

I can't make it to this one -- I had a great time at the last one, though, and will try to make these often as long as research doesn't get in the way

It was nice seeing everyone today. The company was great and in at least a few respects, the food came in a close second. I posted a few thoughts and images on the main Jeonjoo thread.
