This fast-paced workshop covers the basics: query letters, writing articles for newspapers and magazines, food book and cookbook proposals, ebooks, recipe writing, restaurant reviewing, blogging, etc. It is intended as a brief introduction for those interested in entering the field.
Andy Smith conducts the acclaimed Roger Smith Food Writing conference in New York City and teaches Food Studies at the New School University in New York. He is the editor of the
Oxford Encyclopedia of Food and Drink in America, and has edited or authored more than 20 books and his written more than 1000 articles on culinary topics.
