Post #1 - February 6th, 2013, 9:11 amWard Eight, the new craft cocktail lounge on Howard Street in Evanston, has been getting some LTH love lately. It's from Anne and Cody, formerly of In Fine Spirits. It's just a few blocks west of the Howard Street El stop.
There's not a lot of food, but what's there is good, and sufficient to make a light dinner.
We were planning to visit Ward Eight after the food exchange last night, until someone correctly pointed out that Ward Eight is closed on Tuesdays (and on Mondays, FYI). So a few of us decided to venture over there Friday night at 6:30. We'd love to have more LTHers join us. Let us know here so we can give Anne and Cody a heads-up.

This cocktail claims its origins in Boston in the late 1800s. Ward Eight is the only Evanston establishment to be nominated in any category."
