I believe we always went on hiatus in December.

I'd like to call February, if it's not too early. Or March—so I can do the Oscar thing again.

I could do a coffee house on the 20th either in the morning or 4:00 p.m. or later, I just couldn't host that day as I have an event from 1 - 3:30 p.m. that afternoon.

The weekend of the 19-20 isn't very good for me.

Another option...meet at a restaurant as we did last fall and just bring stuff in bags. Maybe a Octoberfest theme or Halloween theme? Pumpkin and apple desserts are calling!!! I guess apples might be too messy for bags.

We could go to Resi's Bier Stube in the city, across from Lashet's.

That's funny, the last restaurant one was in October too, at Laschet's.

Why don't we accept Ingrid's gracious offer, and give ourselves a bit of time to prepare, for 10-27-13?

It looks like Cathy is willing to host in November or January & I can host on a Saturday probably during February, Alistair has this event he usually attend around my birthday, or in the Spring once he vanishes for fishing. I do have a shadow, a/k/a a dog who will be in the mix for those who haven't met her.

Sounds good to me. But I may have to usurp your February plans. We'll worry about that later.

i really don't want to miss another dessert exchange, but due to current eye problems, i can't drive after dark, or long distances at all during the day- so going to cathy's or ingrid's wouldn't be doable for me. i'd be happy to host 10/27 if ingrid didn't mind, or any sunday in november, if that'd be ok with cathy....

Actually, it may be better if you host after all. I may need to go out of town that weekend. We are in the midst of moving my parents and we'll have to go back at some point to winterize the house. We have to see when others are available to help us, so if you don't mind, I'll defer the exchange to you.
