For its January outing, the Evanston Lunch Group is looking for the warmth and comfort of a Wisconsin supper club, so we will dine at L. Woods in Lincolnwood. It isn’t the North Woods, but it’s close enough you can return to the office the same afternoon. We are looking forward to trying their lunch special of 12-hour smoked brisket and some well-fried Walleye and Whitefish. Wisconsin-style Old Fashioneds are optional.

We invite all to join us.

I like this place and would like to join you (as an ambassador of the North Shore lunch group). I'm probably in too, weather, budget, and workload permitting.

Given that I suggested L. Woods, I am sorry that I won't be there. Today's meeting was switched for next week.

    Darn this weather.

This is so close to my office and my Tues schedule is still pretty open...
so I'm going to roll the dice and cross my fingers and say I will come

As of now, we are a lucky 13 people for lunch tomorrow. Please let me know as soon as possible if you will not be able to attend, so I can inform the restaurant of our final count.

    Thanks,

Regretfully, you'll have to take me off the list.

We're remodeling/expanding our kitchen sooner than expected, the project is starting today - and my week is now severely over-booked...

I'm still planning on being there (just mention it because I'd said only probably before).
