OK - we're going commando for next month's meeting. RT Asian Food Mart has no presence on LTH - yet. It's a frequent topic of discussion at previous LTHNLG gatherings. It's time to check out this spot for what I'm told is very good and dirt cheap Filipino food. It's a steam table-type joint and it's a rather small space. We'll need to cap this lunch at eight spots.

Please join us on the 12th. As always, bring a friend.

    HI,

Since I brought it up, I will be there with my friend Helen. We have been visiting weekly since last fall, which means a post on it is long overdue.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Unfortunately I will be in San Francisco/Oakland and can not make it.......not that i am complaining about being away from Chicago! Have fun and I hope you find a seat.

    Hi,

So far it looks like an intimate lunch: one guy and two gals.

Looks like my trip is getting pushed back, so I can even out the count.

    Hi,

    Some driving instructions:

If you take 41, then turn right onto Martin Luther King Drive. When you come to Green Bay Road, there is a Popeye's Chicken. Turn south (right, if coming from the west) and go slowly. When you just pass the McDonald's, the driveway to RT Asian Food is nearby on the right.

There is a standalone Chinese restaurant and a very small strip mall, which is where RT Asian is located.

If you came to Wendy's, you went too far and need to head back.

Even though I have visited now a number of times, I occasionally drive past it myself.

    Regards,
    Cathy2
