    My good friends at Public Media Institute, who also happen to be co-owners of Maria's Packaged Goods and Marz Brewing are hosting a pretty stacked line up of food and drink (and local music!) on Thursday, April 23rd to help support their new radio station, Lumpen Radio. I'll be there! Deets below:

    Chefs from Fat Rice, Parachute, Nightwood, Big Star/PQM, Thank You, The Rice Table, and Sobramessa Supper Club as well as Three Floyds Brewery and Marz Community Brewing are providing food and libations for a fundraiser to build a new radio station in Chicago.

    Join us for an evening of amazing food by Chicago's award winning chefs. Enjoy beer and cocktails by the city's acclaimed bars and breweries. And be a part of a live broadcast of some awesome live performances.

    I did not expect to see this event referenced into here. :oops:
    Yes, the Public Media Institute would rather not refer to it as a fundraiser, but it is a benefit for the soon-to-broadcast station [WLPN 105.5 FM].
    I will be there also. 8) The tickets are via Eventbrite. :idea:
