Post #2 - April 8th, 2015, 9:50 amHi- The tickets range from $46.50 to $201.50! Will they be able to fill the theater at that price? I've heard though that there is a lot of upkeep at the Auditorium Theater, and they generally don't have an event unless they think they can draw a crowd. I would not be surprised if a Groupon or something similar appears a week before he appears there.

He's done this a few times before, so I think they know what they are doing. If you search the board you'll find threads of past performances.

I have gone twice to a Bourdain live program. Once at the Chicago Theater, where he was a solo act.
A few years ago, Bourdain was paired with a French chef buddy who played off each other. I liked this far more than the solo effort. There was a relationship and history, which was quite interesting. They could also take each other down a peg, which doesn't happen in the solo performance.

) I paid $56.50 for a ticket way up on the 6th floor: Sect. GAL-CR; Row D; Seat 11. I bought it @ the Auditorium Theatre Box Office. It may vary if you buy it elsewhere, but included was a $3.00 discount on parking at Loop Auto Parks @ Harrison & Wabash {which would reduce it to $15+}. I am not going to use this coupon. If somebody else would like to have it, let me know. 
If you have not yet viewed it, please be alert for when CNN replays the "Parts Unknown" episode about Tokyo. Watch it. Just - watch it.

I think they'll hit the downtown ramen shacks: Slurping Turtle, Ramen-San, High Five Ramen.

For anybody that is familiar with Goldstar, which is a discount ticket site, currently they have tickets for Anthony Bourdain's July 30th appearance at Auditorium Theatre on July 30 on sale for $35.40.
