Post #1 - July 29th, 2015, 1:38 pmThe Evanston Lunch Group will venture south of the (Evanston) border (sorry, can't help myself) to try a new taqueria in West Rogers Park, Taqueria Vargas. It's a family-run storefront at California and Touhy with a menu of tacos, burritos, tortas, chile relleno, quesadillas, tamales, etc. If we have a good group, we should be able to sample most of their offerings. Please join us!

Agreed. I especially liked the shrimp ones, and the hand-made tortillas were good too. A good place to have in the 'hood.
