    What is Kultura Festival?

Kultura is a modern Filipino American food and arts festival presenting over a dozen Filipino American chefs, visual artists and musicians.

Kultura's chef lineup is a list of heavy-hitters and names-you-may-not-know-but-should: Kristine Subido of Pecking Order Catering, Chrissy Camba of Maddy's Dumpling House, Rob Menor of Stockton, California's Papa Urb's, Bryan Collante of Untitled Supper Club, Joelen Tan-Kenny of What's Cookin', Chicago?, Chef Yana Gilbuena of The SALO Project, Team Hapa of Hapa Chicago, EJ Kim of E+O Restaurant for the traveling Chef Rodelio Aglibot AKA The Food Buddha.

Carefully curated to appeal to both those who personally identify with Filipino culture and the merely curious or uninitiated, Kultura Festival aims to highlight the best in modern Filipino-American food and arts in Chicago and the Midwest. October is Filipino American Heritage Month--join us as we kick it off in style!

So stoked for this! I'm going to try to round up some friends to come along; I assume that tickets will be available at the door.
