The history of the spice trade is filled with fascinating tales of adventures, piracy and war. Through the centuries, battles were fought and empires destroyed in attempts to control access to these elusive treasures.

Patty and Tom Erd, owners of The Spice House in Old Town, will share interesting historical facts, anecdotes and entertaining tales about their adventures as spice merchants in pursuit of the highest quality spices from locations all over the globe – just in time to inspire holiday cooking and baking. Plus, they'll bring some spicy goodies for the audience to take home!
