Pop Up Bar with Field Museum Mushroom Specimens, 3/11

A pop-up bar showcasing Field Museum's specimens will open at the Chicago Athletic Association this weekend, February 25th. The Backroom will run from 5 p.m. - 12 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays through March 25. All events will be free, and will give guests the rare opportunity to chat in person with leading experts in the fields of botany, zoology, geology, history, and more.

Patrick Leacock will be the scientist on hand, Saturday, March 11th, from 6 - 8 PM, stay for the music after that. Stop by, have a drink, and chat about mushrooms and mycology.
