That would be bar veteran Chris Kafcas, who used to run the bars at Fountainhead and Moneygun, among other places. I really liked the Hurricane, too (tasted a friend's). It was appetizingly tart and had a great passionfruit flavor. My Aviation was also terrific - very well balanced. Chris and Danny showed me their upcoming cocktail menu (launching in about a week) and it looked great.
I'd also like to thank Danny and the whole crew for the delicious meal and excellent, warm hospitality. He's a total pro. Always making it look effortless, when we all it know it isn't. It was a really fun evening -- great seeing everyone and getting to chat a bit.
Let's do it again sometime!
