    Leek,

Can you add 4 more to the guest list? I met Glenn and his wife Lisa at the Mangalitsa pig dinner and they would like to join us along with their 2 children. They might be bringing a friend, but for now, it's the 4 of them. Thanks!

Please include us in the dinner. There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 9. Looking forward to a great meal and thanks to Charlotte for informing us of the dinner and forum. I just saw Charlotte's post to include us in the Dinner so please do not double count us. Glenn

Alas, we're sadly not going to be able to make it. I thought the logistics were possible, but it doesn't look good.

I hope you all have a wonderful time! The menu looks great.

Sorry, but I guess I must now bow out also. As of late tonight, it looks like the family is going to mass on Christmas Eve, rather than first thing Christmas morning. Plans are still a little wobbly, but I don't want you to count me in the total, only to have me cancel at the last minute. Very disappointed to miss this....

Can we still join the crowd? It would be 2 of us, plus 9-month old - who will bring his own food.

    We're looking forward to it!

Looks like we are around 3 tables (approx 30 people), so I have confirmed that with the restaurant. Looking forward to seeing everyone there tomorrow!

Just FYI - we had a little flurry of people who were added and subtracted from the list at their request. Please double-check that I got your status right.

Glad those who joined can make it :) and sorry we'll miss those who had to decline (esp. those who have the flu at their houses :( )

    Hi,

This was an endless meal with dish after dish arriving to the table. It reminded me of the LTHforum party at Sun Wah. You're zapped, but there are a few more dishes to explore.

CrazyC - thanks for ordering such a wonderful meal to Chinese-taste. She never informed the restaurant the meal was intended for Americans. Brilliant.

Leek - thanks for carrying the mantle for the Jewish Christmas Eve.

My Mom is sold on coming next year.

    Again, thanks!

    Regards,
    Cathy2

    Cathy,

Any comments about the food, pictures? Happy Chef is a restaurant I am particularly interested in hearing about as it seems to have a large fan base of which I am not one.

CrazyC, what were the little raisin-like berries in the pea shoots? That dish really reminded me of the many savory dried-fruit dishes that I often cook, but I liked those little fruits better than raisins (they were rather like miniature figs, really.)

C'mon, I am not that heard to get along with. (g)

The food was very good. I have eaten several hubdred large mouth bass and that was the first one baked whole.
