Ingredients willing, I will make Vaghareli Makai (Spiced Indian Corn), possibly with rice. I'm looking forward to seeing how it pairs with tiki drinks!

I will ensure our guests bring something interesting; I've already informed them that's the cost of admission. Will check the sheet to see what areas might need extra items.

I have a good feeling about this year.

I have had much success making Pancit Bihon in my wok on my Smokey Joe.

My bride is still undecided... :)

    Another post when she decides.

Leek, petite gourmande, fropones and I are creating cocktails for the Tiki Bar. As of now we have a blue Hawaiian, Gold Coast punch and a Temple Destroyer, I'm going to make a non-alcoholic cocktail also. Cathy2 thanks to you and everyone who puts such hard work into this event every year. What do you need most for supplies? I can stop by Costco and pick up plates cups or silverware just tell me what you want.

In addition to making the chorizo for stevez's hash, I will be teaming up with Mrs. milz50 on some Country Ham Biscuits. I have a Colonel Newsome ham that is ready to go and she is a biscuit-making maven. I realize there's another ham on the roster but this should be fairly different from that one.

I'll also bring some corn liquor.

Wonderful, the more the merrier. I just wanted to put our drinks out there so no-one duplicates them. If you can keep the alcohol separate (which I realize is not possible with some drinks) we can also serve non-alcoholic versions.

Alright, I think I am ready to commit to this. I'll be there +1, maybe +2. I'll firm that up this week.

I'm planning to cook up a big pot of Chili Colorado with some recently acquired chile chimayo from New Mexico. If I'm feeling ambitious, I might also do handmade flour tortillas to go along with the stew.

In addition to mai-tais, I'll be bringing Molly Katzen's fabulous mushroom pate and some kinda bread/cracker something to spread it on.

The pate is brown - 'cause it's mushrooms! - and I've given up bringing it to parties because nobody eats it because it's brown. But you, LTHers, YOU will know better. And hopefully enjoy.

And it's vegetarian. But not vegan.
