I thought I needed a catchier title to get some more response for our FIG Catering Anniversary Party. Forgot to mention that it is a breakfast-themed event where bacon is likely to be a large part of the meal (we're only serving hors d'oeuvres, but there will be enough to qualify as a meal). We'd love to see some LTH members representing the food community.

We've just remodeled our new kitchen space and we're celebrating. It's also our two year anniversary. In addition to the beginning of spring. What more reasons do you need to come celebrate with delicious food, drinks and free massage.

Even though noone has responded, I hope that some of you will show up for free bacon (it'll be my first chance to meet most of you since I'm always working).

Moderator: can you please post this to the calender? Thanks.

    Hi,

I've been contemplating attending. I just have to see how things go on my real life!

I thought we were supposed to respond via the attached e-vite, rather than on this site. That's where I responded. Perhaps others did, as well.

Anyway, whether through this site or the e-vite, I plan on being there with a guest. (But don't put me down twice -- unless it's for serving me bacon!)

Cynthia - thanks, I actually prefer you reply on the evite so I have some sort of guest count. But, I also wanted to keep this post close to the top so people don't miss it.

See you on Friday! (Hope you can make it, Cathy)

Thanks, figmolly and figjustin. It was a great party. Nice people. Really fun, tasty, imaginative, well-presented food -- so many really clever things, like the "steak and eggs"/deviled eggs with carpaccio and the wonderful little potato pancakes with sour cream and cavair -- and the outmeal panacotta wih brown sugar gelée. Figjustin's bloody mary mix rocks. And offering massage was a wonderful bonus.

The party was wonderful. I hope it ushers in another year of success and growth.

Thank you to all of the LTH'ers that made it out to Pilsen
to help FIG Catering celebrate our 2 year anniversay.
We are glad you enjoyed everything and hope to see you
next year. The two year aniversary was Bacon, I think
we will have to shower ourselves with another form of
pork belly next year. Cheers!! :P
