TAC Quick - dinner with friends while visiting Chicago

Hi All!

Been too long since I visited Chicago (and lthforum).

I am in town for a few days this week, I'll be back at least once, probably twice in July as well.

This trip I am planning, at the last minute, a dinner for friends at TAC Quick tomorrow evening.

Of course, LTHers are more than welcome to join in the fun.

The plan is to gather at TAC Quick, probably at 6pm tomorrow, order a ton of food, the daily specials, and enjoy great food and new & old friends.

My next visits back to Chicago will be with a bit more advance warning, so I will organize something a bit more in advance.

If you can't make the dinner tomorrow night but would like to meet up while I am in town, drop me a line or call me at 1.800.454.4929 (will ring through to my cell phone). I'll be in Chicago most of today, in Evanston much of Wednesday.

Glad to see that LTHForum is still going strong - and I love the Great Neighborhood Restaurants awards - very nicely done indeed.

Ih ave actually beeen craving some TAC for a while now and haven't been since March. Having just returned from SF yesterday and free tomorrow eve, I may just have to join in. Still room?

Please do join us. I think we'll be relatively small, probably about 6-8 people. I'll try to get there a bit early and probably try for one of the larger tables towards the back (if available). Today I'm dressed in a black Hawaiian shirt (and if you don't know me - I am male - the name can cause confusion online especially)

Looking forward to meeting new lthforum users as well as I hope some old friends. I'll definitely be back in Chicago in July (probably twice in fact) and I'll be sure to organize other gatherings with a bit more advance warning.

About what time? We might be able to make it. Depends on dogs and a few other things.

6 pm is the plan.

I highly recommend taking the red line if you can - there is a cub's game tonight so parking may be tough in the area. However we should be ending while the game is still playing, so getting home should be relatively painless.
