Wed, June 27: Pops for Champagne Sparkling Wine Festival

Pops For Champagne (601 N. State St.), Chicago’s premier nightlife destination, presents the 20th Annual “Made in the USA” Sparkling Wine Festival on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Considered one of the nation’s largest sparkling wine festivals, more than 40 sparkling wines from across the country will be featured during this annual event.

Distributors from some of the country’s most renowned wineries including Domaine Carneros, Argyle, Gruet, Iron Horse, Roederer Estate, Schramsberg, Mumm Cuvee Napa and Chandon – among many others – will lead the tasting and be on hand to answer any questions from guests. The wineries are located all across the U.S. including California, Oregon, New Mexico, Washington, Michigan and New York.
