8/28 - dining companions again requested

Fate must be looking for me to meet some of you. I had planned on converting the fried chicken recipe posted awhile back to a GF version, but Mr Views just called and will be out of town one more night. Ah, more gluten for me to eat! More restaurants for me to try! MMMM, dessert!

So, if anyone is looking for a companion, or wouldn't mind me tagging along an already established outing, please let me know. Someplace you've been wanting to try? I'll try it with you.

As I mentioned yesterday, I am in west Lakeview, but getting around is easy enough on my bike or through public trans.

Maybe Fate is not. . . I'm off on my own.

In the future, I think a better way to proceed is to select a restaurant (an interesting one, perhaps a GNR winner) and ask if anyone would like to meet you there at a particular time. That way people might decide that they would like to eat at a particular restaurant, rather somewhere than at an undetermined place with a stranger.

For instance, people on the board look for an excuse to go to TAC Quick, Little Three Happiness, La Unica, Khan's, etc.

If you need company tomorrow (Wednesday) come along to Otom.

Thanks, GAF. It may work better, it's just not what I wanted to do or what I was comfortable doing. And, I completely accept that this method may not suit many others.
