In honor of the passage of the dogs in cafe ordinance, Chenney Troupe, a group that works with rehab dogs (dogs that work to rehabilitate people) will be holding a Take Your Dog to Dinner night. Despite the fact that the ordinance does not go into effect until January 1, 2008, the City Counsel has endorsed this event.

The link for that event is as follows:

LTHers may want to choose one of the locations for a group event.

Is anyone else planning on doing this? We were thinking of going to Uncommon Ground, so if you see a couple with a big red brindle greyhound, do say hi. He's friendly, at least :)

We'll probably be at Silver Cloud as it's closest to our casa. Just look for the 20-something couple with a blenheim Cavalier King Charles puppy.

Mrs Sweet Willie and I would bring our sweetie Alaskan Malamute and our mutt (1/2 lab 1/2 sharpei)
I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.

See, I kind of have the same problem. I'm in a household with three dogs. One (boy) dog hates everyone but three people in this world. He'd clear out any restaurant and the street. He stays home. But he needs company (he's like Jerry Maguire; he's not good alone). One is a former stray, and is adept at begging without seeming like he's begging. So that's two dogs at home. So I guess I have one dog - out of three - that is a possible candidate to go out to a restaurant. I guess one is better than none!
