It was a pleasure and honor to meet so many of you at today's perfect picnic.
Here are two possibilities for some calming after-work homemade Korean food at GNR first-time nominee Seoul Korea in Hyde Park:
Thursday, September 13, or
Tuesday, September 18.
While these two dates straddle the nomination deadline, I'm more interested in introducing the food than campaigning since there is so little track record here with the new owners. If both dates are bad, it's therefore easily possible to reschedule for a time when a warming bowl of soup is more seasonable.
If this is even imaginable, the space is about half the size of Katy's Noodles, and there will be other patrons around, so a group of more than about six would be very hard to seat, and we might have to kill time with falafel at the Nile next door. You can preview the menu here:

I'll throw this out - I'll be planning to eat there myself on Thursday the 13th at 6:30 and will welcome any takers. If there is a groundswell for Tuesday the 18th instead, we'll go that way. Vote away or discuss in thread; I'm completely open to another time as well if it's hard to get to Hyde Park.
The address is 1603 E. 55th (towards the lake from the Metra / old "IC" on 55th street), under an awning that usually says the old name, Cafe Corea, but which is currently obscured by scaffolding.
