I just got the email announcement below from a yoga studio in Wilmette at which I sometimes attend workshops and classes. The subject line was, "Date Night at Generations." If you're part of the crowd wearing "f%#k yoga" t-shirts, you may chuckle at the mere concept of a date night at a yoga studio (I'm a dedicated yogi, and it made me really embarrassed), but please pay special attention to the references to food in the announcement

Reading the announcement, I was suspicous of the "gourmet meal" since there were few details included about it, so I emailed the studio to ask who would be catering the dinner. I received a prompt, two-word reply...

Granted, it's near the end of the day, but I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Yet more fodder for the people who hate yoga... To be somewhat constructive, the space at Generations Yoga is beautiful, and while I've not met Paul Fowler, I'm a big proponent of Thai yoga massage and practicing with a partner. It can be very sensual and restorative.
