All, Robyn and I would like to invite you all into our home for cocktails and some simple appetizers on December 6th. We are well aware that this is the second night of Hanukkah, and we will kick off the evening by lighting candles.

We expect this to start at about 6:30 PM to allow those coming from work to meet us at our place. We live in Wicker Park, right off of Division and Wood- for those taking the El, take the Blue Line to the division street stop and walk down division to wood. Turn right on wood and walk until you reach the cross section of Ellen.

Please PM me for exact address.

    A few notes:

There is some parking in our neighborhood (that isn't zoned), though we ask that you please try and take the El or a cab as we will be drinking. I expect to have 3-5 cocktails, plus an open bar including wine, sodas, juice, etc. There will be non-alcoholic drinks available.

We also ask that you please RSVP below just so we have a general idea as to how much food to have on hand and if we should have reinforcements for wine or any particular type of liquor.

We hope to see you in our house to celebrate the end of the year with us!

    Jpschust

After reading your in-depth posts on the whys and wherefores of the cocktail I am particularly interested in joining what looks to be a lovely evening. December 8th is a bit far out in a commitment congested time of year to say for certain at this point, but I wanted to thank you and Robyn for the kind offer to open up your home for an LTHForum event.

    Enjoy,
    Gary

Thanks Gary. The drinks will lean towards the simple side, though I'm experimenting right now with some bacon/sausage/pork infusions.

I'm getting a lot of conflicts from folks who want to come. If you'd like to come now's your time to speak up or else we'll have to reschedule :(
