Post #1 - August 21st, 2008, 4:37 amMercat a la Planxa celebrates Chef Jose Garces' victory on Food Network's "Iron Chef America" with a screening dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24. Garces triumphed over Bobby Flay Sunday, August 17. A $125 six-course dinner with paired wines and a big-screen showing of the episode will feature. Menu items will include marinated toro and watermelon ceviche with bon-bons, habanero and coconut and heirloom melon, and goat cheese terrine with jamon Iberico, nasturtium and acacia honey.
