    As Theodore Roosevelt (T.R.), Joe Wiegand brings history to life. A lifelong student of American history, government and foreign policy, Joe is a political science graduate of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and a former graduate assistant at the Center for Governmental Studies at Northern Illinois University.

    Following T.R.'s counsel to live a vigorous life and be the man in the arena, Joe has served as an elected county commissioner, a campaign and public policy professional, a board member of various not-for-profits and senior warden at his church. Joe is a member of Lions Club International, a member of Rotary International and a member of National Association for Interpretation.

    Joe travels the country with his family on their tour celebrating the anniversary of Theodore Roosevelt's 150th birthday and centennial of his final historic year as our 26th President.

    I am relying on Chuck's for the BBQ.

    I am baking pies to auction off. I am also making the pimento cheese with Duke's mayo, bread-and-butter pickles and salted nuts.
