For those of you who have yet to try GNR nominee UrbanBelly, or those of you who have and would like to make a return visit, please join me on the xxth!
    http://www.lthforum.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=21023

Bill & Yvonne are kindly holding a table for the xxth at 6pm. This event is being capped at 10 due to the tiny size of the restaurant and their policy of no reservations. Come and enjoy Bill's great interpretations of his childhood favorites, from kimchi to lamb dumplings to pork belly ramen!

BYOB and we'll just order off the board so that everyone can try what they would like. Please read the raves on the main UB thread here to get an idea of the great evening that we are in for!

Please RSVP, hope to see many of you there for an evening of wonderful food and congenial company!

Ursiform, I offer this as an FYI in case you were not aware. Daytime of 9/30 (and for some the night of as well) is Rosh Hoshanah. Some folks may have family or religious obligations.

I imagine you shouldn't have any problems filling up your 10 slots, though. I look forward to more reports and trying this place myself some other time.

Oh, geez, it slipped my mind! I hope we still have good attendance, sorry to inconvenience anyone.

Anyone who has obligations for that date, I'd be happy to meet you for lunch at UB any other time. :D

6:00 is rather early. Might you consider later. 7:00 or 7:15 say?

GAF, sorry I missed this, I've not been online much over the last week and forgot to select "notify me when a reply is posted"!

I spoke with Yvonne and set it up for this early as they are holding a table for us and any later, they may not be able to since they really are very busy in the evening. I typically have pretty leisurely meals there, perhaps you could join us whenever you are able?

Just realized that I have tickets for the WhiteSox v. Minnesota tomorrow night.

As this date has not worked well for anyone, I'll call UB and see if we can reschedule. Please look for a new date to come soon!!!

Edited to add - Mods, could you direct me on the best way to make the date on this "Indefinite" for now? Thanks!
